Come celebrate the holidays and life, and shop for a good cause, too -Fighting Breast CANCER!

Come shop local on December 3rd along 23rd Avenue in Astoria! We are kick-starting the holiday shopping season with great items and a gift for you, while supporting the wonderful local cancer support charity, “Shareing & Careing”. The event is organized by retailers Creators’ Co-Op, The Jumping Bulldog, KrisTEES, and Peter Valcarcel Home, and is sponsored by Teddy’s Florist and BORO Magazine, as well as other small businesses located on 23rd Avenue. In addition, this neighborhood initiative is supported by New York City Council Member Peter Vallone Jr. of District 22. Visit participating retailers Belief, Creators’ Co-Op, Fresh Start, The Jumping Bulldog, KrisTEES, Peter Valcarcel Home, and Rejuvenate Face & Body. And shop for fashion, home accessories, cosmetics, healthy edibles, one-of-a kind items from local artists, and even specialty items for pets.

What you need to do is simply pick up a “Retail Passport” at any participating store and have it stamped by all 7 participating stores. Once the “Retail Passport” is fully stamped, you can collect a celebratory event tote at KrisTEES, the last stop on this retail adventure. Inside the tote, you will find a holiday ornament specially created for the event, holiday promotions from businesses along 23rd Avenue, and a specially designed cookie by Dough & Batter for “Shareing & Careing.” The complimentary tote will be given as a thank you for participating and supporting not only local retailers, but also a local charity. Do not miss the holiday wreaths at each participating retailer, specially designed by volunteers from “Shareing & Careing” with messages of hope to celebrate life and the holidays. Participating retailers will donate 10% from the sales of the day to “Shareing & Careing” and in addition they will have donation boxes located in their stores for the month of December.

HOPE TO SEE Y’ALL THERE 🙂
